Wings of Harper was created to bring hope, healing, and connection to families walking through the hardest journeys, from IVF and infertility to NICU stays and infant loss.

Our mission is to support, comfort, and uplift these families through shared stories, community awareness, and tangible acts of care, including therapy assistance through the Harper Foundation Fund.

We believe every parent deserves emotional healing, a safe space to share their story, and to know they are never alone.

Every product, interview, and donation we share spreads a little more light, love, and understanding, one family at a time.

Our Story

We have been in your shoes. Whether you’re walking through infertility, grieving pregnancy loss, or sitting beside your baby in the NICU, we see you.

Our founder Emily's most recent journey brought her back to the NICU. After years of pregnancy losses and fertility treatments, Emily and her husband had come to peace with not having more children. So when they found out she was six weeks pregnant, it was a complete shock. Emily had even mistaken bleeding for a period the prior two months.

From the start, her pregnancy was high-risk—due to age, past losses, a 32-week delivery, and a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes. At 17 weeks, Emily had a partial placental abruption and was put on strict bed rest. Things stabilized until her 20-week ultrasound, when they learned their baby had a bowel obstruction (Duodenal Atresia), a heart defect (VSD), a cleft lip, and a high probability of Down syndrome.

They didn’t hesitate, this was their baby, and they loved her no matter what.

At 26 weeks, Emily felt off.  She thought it might be a UTI, but after going to the doctors and having test ran, it was discovered Emily was already 3.5 cm dilated. Within the 1 hour drive to the Hospital, Emily was  5 cm and admitted. After medication to slow labor, she were told she could go home, until her contractions started again at 4 a.m. Emily was at 6 cm, and due to a past spinal tumor surgery, she couldn’t have an epidural.  She underwent an emergency C-section and delivered her daughter at exactly 27 weeks—not breathing.

She was resuscitated, placed on a ventilator, and weighed just 2 lbs. Nothing prepares you for that. After 14 long hours, Emily finally got to meet her baby girl.

They spent 3 months in the NICU....riding the highs and lows of prematurity and healing. During that time, people showed up for Emily: journals, blankets, preemie bows, little comforts that made a big impact. You often don’t know what you need as a NICU mom you’re overwhelmed, scared, and desperate to be home.

That’s why Emily created Wings of Harper, to support women through infertility, loss, NICU stays, and postpartum challenges. Our mission is to give moms what they need, when they need it most whether it’s a journal to cry in, or a cup to remind them to hydrate during long hospital days.

Please take a look around, share our mission, or consider donating to the Wings of Harper Scholarship, which supports families facing IVF costs, NICU stays, infant loss, and postpartum therapy.

You’re not alone. And you are stronger than you know.
